AWS AI Maker Challenge

Lead Developer

  • Served as technical lead for Funding Forge, an AI-powered grant discovery platform; architected a serverless multi-agent system using AWS Strands Agents SDK with an orchestrator routing to sub-agents for CV parsing, grant retrieval, and collaborator matching.
  • Integrated Amazon Bedrock (Claude Sonnet for proposal drafting, Claude Haiku for lightweight tasks) and Bedrock Knowledge Bases with OpenSearch Serverless for semantic vector search.
  • Built full-stack implementation across React/TypeScript frontend, Express.js + PostgreSQL backend, and FastAPI microservice layer; delivered a live prototype within a single 48-hour sprint.
  • Won 1st place among 12 teams, judged by AWS Senior Solutions Architects and FSU research, ITS, and library leadership.

J&J Technology Awareness Program - Cohort 2

Lead Developer — Pulse Break

  • Served as lead engineer across a 4-person cross-functional team, translating design concepts and SME feedback into all production-ready screens and app architecture across a 6-sprint program.
  • Engineered an in-app box breathing animation without third-party redirects; designed full app architecture, live demo, and executive pitch with research-backed stress framing (UKG, Seramount, Wellhub, AIS).
  • Integrated UX color palette and landing screen concepts from team forks into a cohesive main branch, delivering screens for stress check-in, tiered break interventions, guided reflection, and return-to-work summary.
  • Recognized by J&J Vision VP Chief Digital Officer Mark Gaynor and IT Director Yiannis Zachariou as the strongest technical solution among all TAP Cohort 2 teams.

  • Observed end-to-end healthcare software workflows including requirements gathering, and sprint planning processes operating under strict data sensitivity and compliance constraints
